Gotta go with the home team in this one. I think I would have Southern around a 5.5 point favorite. Out of curiosity, which way would you bet based on a 5.5 point line? I would lean towards taking Belpre + the 5.5.

The boys at Toms Butcher Shop took up a special collection to supplement my pay as referee. I forecast a BIG tornado victory.

I heard some of southerns kids been out of school sick. Is this true, it's that time of year. Hope everyone from both teams is healthy

Hope coach Caldwell has his troops at full strength. This is a must win for the Tornadoes to have a shot at the league title.

I think everyone is healthy, should be a good game! Go Tornadoes!
Re: Beplre (9-4) @ Southern (11-2) 1/31
I think Southern played mostly zone the first game. Be interesting to see what coach Caldwell does this time. But if he gets 23 again & no one else scores much Southern may be ok!

Wow. What a game. Southern is making a habit of giving games away in the 4th. I wonder if the word stall is in there arsenal? Great foul shooting by southern (5-14) always helps too. Great win Belpre!! Congrats on your tvc title.

Huge win for Coach Thornhill and his squad, on the road, no less.
Tough win for Belpre. And GWA, the Golden Eagles didn't help their cause with their foul shooting either, from what Hardfowl said on the radio........
The Roseberry boy played one heck of a game for the Tornadoes.

Congrats to the belpre Coaches, young men on the team, and all the Belpre fans.
They proved that good coaching goes a long way toward having a successful season.
