WHAT IS “MODIFIED”  FUTSAL?

Everything about “modified” futsal is identical to regular futsal  play  except for a 20 inch high padded wall
that surrounds the playing area and keeps 90% of the balls that typically go “out-‐of-‐bounds” in play.
This wall results in three main differences:

1. It keeps the game moving allowing more playing time.

2. It greatly reduces the excessive number of “side kick” inbounds plays and goalie “throw in” plays that occur with less experienced players.

3. It forces players to shield and learn to make moves with their back to a defender.

Futsal is designed to  utilize a small playing area to improve the “foot skills” experienced  players possess.
While the game is great for forcing players to control their touches in a small space there are still a
number of developing players in our county that will benefit from the side walls that doesn’t exist in futsal. We believe the walls make the game more fun! All  others rules and procedures are the same as in
any recognized FIFA league. (This is not a sanctioned FIFA league or activity.)

Special Note to Parents and Spectators

A Parent or guardian must sign the waiver form prior to any child participating.

Players won’t mind that the ARC is cool but spectators will want to dress  appropriately.

Seating is limited and all siblings in attendance must be seated and supervised at all times.

We are hoping this new league develops into an annual indoor  soccer activity for local players.

PM me for registration form or tell me how to dump a pdf on this forum. I couldn't get it to work. Computer skills are lacking at best!
