im guessing another pvc champion ship for the zeps again this year. they had a lot graduate in farnsworth, wise, starr, matheneny and windland but they have some good young talent that will have to fill them spots and has the best ace in the area in james luyster the kid can throw in the upper 80's as a jr and will be solid in the field and at the plate

eddy is a good pitcher but weak at the plate and the lang boys will be good but fort wont have no help other than them boys

The pvc with prob come down to Doah and Fort Frye again i belive that fort lost everything but eddy and the 2 langs and shenandoah has 2 returning all eastern district preformers in Crum and Luyster and one all pvc preformer in Thompson as for my redskins i believe they only have one senior

If River still plays on the dirt infield, now would be a good time to build a new field elsewhere.

Not from up there, best guess is field got used for a "lay down" area for the big school rebuild project. Construction materials, and equipment.

Not much spare room on the hill, and field is just across drive from gym.

Pilots old coach Greg Beyes resigned after last season I don't think he could discipline his team enough also I believe they will be playing on the field down by the lockes and dam

I'm guessing Coach Bidwell will have a full roster since basketball season ended for the Fort Frye boys last nite.
Brand spanking new "pro Style backstop and higher fencing from dugout to dugout. Looks great.

there isnt as much of a home field advantage in baseball. there just isnt much of a crowd. i mean of course u no ur field but with all the rain most teams cant get on there field so it isnt that big of a disadvantage to play away

Meigs came to Beverly for a scrimmage with Fort Frye today.
Watched first game, no score kept, but Meigs plated more runners than FF.
Understandable as FF had several boys playing with the big round ball till Wednesday.
#14 Moyers, I think is his name, pitched some for Meigs and is throwing very hard allready, and yes, throwing strikes.
Zack Eddy threw the last couple innings for FF, even picking a runner off second. He looked pretty good having just finished up basketball.

I think the second game was just going to be JV's.
