I think they'll sit comfortably in the playoffs at 6-4. The teams they lose to are giving Ironton serious points to keep them up in the rankings. They are currently 5th following this week. The teams fighting for the last spot look to be Wellston, Meigs, Minford and Tuscarawas Valley - all of which Ironton will get in over. So they shouldn't fall out as long as they win two of the final three.

Ironton doesn't get any points from the teams that beat them. They only get points for their wins.

That said, 6-4 should get them in.

Very fun game to watch. Both teams came back at one point when things did not look so good. Either team could have won that game (although I think the better team won)

Any officials out there that saw the game that can explain the pass interference call on the run play? I doubt that is what they meant to call but that is what was signald.

congratulations to the jackson ironmen. that was a great game last night by both teams. what more can you ask for we had the lead late. and simply would not tackle. i think our tackling and blocking is not doing well right now. the backs are working hard, there is just not much push from our offensive line at all, nor sustaining blocks. and teams are blowing us up in the middle in the second halves of games. which may suggest a conditioning problem. however the tackling has been just as poor as the blocking. but they are my team, i still love em, we have lost to 3 very powerful programs, ashland ky. is div2 in ky. with i think only one loss, and we have got beaten back to back weeks, by plain city jonathon alder, and jackson, both are d3 schools that were undefeated, and still are to my knowledge, and finally give it up to the ironmen and coach hall. they had a very good game plan, the ran, both sides of the field passed the ball well, they mixed their offensive plays up well, and they tackled well. they did more things right than us, and won the ballgame. no shame in who we have lost to, most teams won't even schedule these teams. and coming up we got last years, d4 state champions , columbus bishop hartley. we still are in the playoff hunt, but must beat hartley and win out in my opinion.

The jumping ship comes from the lack of activity and brashness of the masses. Many Tiger fans just up and vanished. There are a few of you who have stayed, and that's the right thing to do.
