I'll take ND by 14 as well. They took it to NB at their home court that everyone says give NB the advantage. Now we're playing on a full size court, the transition game and press will prove to be too much for NB to stop. ND has to finish and start putting teams away and not feel sorry for beating a team by 25+.

The Titans were without JP Kayser in the first meeting, while Soph. Will Haney started in place for him.

New Boston is a good team. If Horsley is shooting well, the Tigers can play with most D4 teams around. As an Eagles fan, I will be pulling for the Tigers.

Good luck!

Notre Dame's weaknesses were exposed last night:
-Terrible at the foul line thoughout the whole game but more noticeable at crunch time.
-They had no one to stop Horsley with their man to man. Hats off to Horsley, he was "in the zone" last night. He took any shot he wanted and made it. Why ND didn't try to switch up their defense is a mystery. Never saw their 3-2 zone or with Horsley making those threes even a 1-3-1. And with all the fouls piling up on both sides, you can protect your starters better with a zone then man to man.
-Inability to score against a packed zone. Here was a mystery. ND had a big league, the Tigers retreated into a packed zone and ND never attempted to pull them out. NB couldn't match up man to man but they controlled the game with that zone.
Kudos to Coach Stapleton, ND was running away with the game in the first half until NB put in that 1-2-1-1 half court trap. That slowed the pace and changed the game.
This was a great game with entirely two different halves. The fans were really into this game.
Come tourney time, ND better solve their FT woes and figure out a way to keep their best players on the floor.

Ditto...
Never seen them miss so many FTs. That's not like the boys to shoot that bad.
Anyway photos for this game are posted at Gino's Photos

ND is 12 - 2 and possibly .6 of a second away from 13 - 1.They are a very good team.
NB played a great game - hats off to them! They were hitting everything.
ND missed quite a few shots. Great to get a win under those circumstances.

One game at a time.......

Notre Dame has beat South Webster and Northwest from the SOC II, Ironton St. Joe, Raceland (KY), and the Tree of Life is a Christian academy from Columbus (OH). The Titans played them at the Convocation Center in Athens for a holiday classic. Tree of Life has wins over Division-I teams.
