You may be right. The Tigers probably should have learned something from the drubbing they took last year from that little D-5 team.

13-4, 1st time since 99. Those are the stats on the Burg-Ironton series. Its funny you win one game in 8 years and you guys think you are the masters of this series. The truth is the margin of Ironton victory is usually between 2 to 3 touchdowns. Reality is last year was a merely a blip on the radar. Ironton returns to its winning ways big time against the Burg this year.

Where on God's green earth do you read into that the Burg people said they are the masters of this series? Burg realizes that the records are lopsided, but by no means has this game been that lopsided of a game. In the last 5-6 years, any true Ironton fan knows that the outcome of this game could have went the other way and the records would and probably should be about 9-8 in favor of Ironton.
This game, with the exception of last year has been a knock down good ol' slobberknocker the last few years and I don't expect anything different out of this years game.
Let's let the kids decide the outcome on the field and may the best team win.

I agree! I have yet to see with exception of 1 or 2 dumb ppl that Burg fans are claiming to own the tigers or shouting at a no chance for the tigers game.
ON THE OTHER HAND!! MOST Ironton fans are rediculously stupid right now shouting and showing their immaturity. Be real and remember those 5-6 years that were so close to going the other way. No slaying, no owning, just hard fought games. This year will be no different. Those who think otherwise, well I hope you get a little crow! No lets actually talk about the upcoming game!
Let the kids play to prove it.
Good luck to both teams!

Probably the most ironic post I've ever seen on SEOP.

I don't think I'd describe them as a "little" D5 team. According to the current OHSAA figures Ironton has 216 boys and Wheelersburg has 185. Not much of a difference at all.
