I think we actually have a recruiting cordinator on staff now. Your wrong about scioto co allstars though. We recruit outside scioto co and even into ky.

Tigers probably should have learned something from the drubbing they took last year from that little D-5 team.

I don't think I'd describe them as a "little" D5 team. According to the current OHSAA figures Ironton has 216 boys and Wheelersburg has 185. Not much of a difference at all.

That's a difference of 31 boys to choose from..... probably more boys that some schools like Notre Dame and East have to choose their whole team from.

only thing i have to say is Irontons O-line better be quick and in shape because the Pirates D-line is very quick and fast.

There are a few things we can be absolutley positively sure will happen.

1. Two teams, both with school colors of orange and black will take the field at Ed Miller Staduim on August 22nd at 7:30 pm to do battle on the gridiron.

2. One team will win.

3. One team will lose.

4. Both will play their hearts out and leave it all out on the feild.

5. The crowd will be large and raucous.


The BS is so deep in this thread that I had to roll up my pants just to get on here and post. lol

Other than that, no one has a clue what will happen in this game and anything else is just pure speculation. Like I said earlier, all of the Ironton faithful made the same claims last year about being back on top and blowing the Burg away and we all how that turned out, on your own field no less. Let the kids play the game and decide it on the field.
