CONGRATULATIONS....go to the Portsmouth Little League 9/10 girls. They defeated West last night 5 to 3 to win the district championship. they play on Saturday at 1:00 in Elyria Ohio.

The girls lost on Saturday 7-2 against Avon. They play again on Monday evening.

The Portsmouth Girls beat Clyde today 11-0 in 4 innings. I was wrong about the team they beat on Satuday, they lost to Poland.
There are 4 teams remaining in the State Tournament. Portsmouth, Poland, Elyria & ?[color=#0000FF] ( I can't remember).
Portsmouth plays Poland again tomorrow evening.

Just got an update....Portsmouth beat Poland 3-2 in extra innings.
There are 3 teams left. Astabula & Elyria are playing right now and the loser of that game plays Portsmouth tomorrow at 6:00.

Portsmouth will play Elyria tonight in what hopefully will be the 1st of 2 games for the state title.

Portsmouth 9/10 All-Stars are the State Champions.
They won in the bottom on the 6th inning. Wesleigh Jackson hit the winning RBI scoring Maggie Hoover.
