What will Ironton's record be this year?
What will Ironton's record be this year?
Looking at Ironton's schedule this year they should win nine games, but I don't know if this schedule will prepare them for the postseason. Tigers you better watch out for Coldwater and Mooney.
Re: What will Ironton's record be this year?
I am guessing 6-4 or 7-3 and their best record could be 8-2.

15-0 or more realistically 13-1. With that 1 being a semi final loss in 4OTs versus Coldwater.

it's possible for an undefeated season. but i'm going to be realistic here, and say 9-1. home first round playoff game.

8-4....2nd rd playoff loss.....
Ironton has a 10 game schedule....If the Tigers would go 8-2....That would put them in the playoffs at 8-2....But, for them to make it to the second round with a win in the first round would have them at 9-2....I believe they would have to be 9-3 with a lose in the 2nd round....
I don't understand the 8-4 record????
How could that be????

BUT EVERY NOW AND THEN THE PUBLIC BOYS PULL ONE OFF. JUST LIKE COLDWATER OVER YOUNGSTOWN MOONEY UNIVERSITY. JUST LAST YEAR.

I think you'll need Murphy to play up to potential to have a good year. With him at less than 100% you're a 6-8 win team. If he plays like he shows occasionally you might get that 10-0. He reminds me alot of the big fullback you had earlier this decade. Matt something possibly? Can't remember the name but the kid was a beast in that 01 regular season game at the Tank you beat us 16-15 in.

IF HE PLAYS LIKE HE DID WHEN HE WAS A SOPH. PEOPLE COULD BE IN FOR A LONG NIGHT, AND A PAINFUL ONE AS WELL. BUT THATS ONLY ONE GUY. BUT IF THAT ONE GUY IS THE FULLBACK. AND GOES FULL TILT, FOR 10 WEEKS, 48 MINUTES EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT. HE COULD WRITE HIS OWN D1 TICKET. IF NOT HE'LL PROBABLY BE ON THE LINE.

WITH THAT SAID , HE COULD ALSO BE VERY EFFECTIVE ON THE LINE , IN SITUATIONS. LIKE GOAL LINE.

Well, you're offense always seems to run much smoother with a dominant fullback. It's like having a great qb in a spread system.
