Re: WK9 Coal Grove (5-2) @ Fairland (2-6)
I know Fairlands offense is getting better but this is a tough game. Hope big #77 Waulk is healthy because he'll take on the whole Fairland line by himself. Running clock 4th Quarter. 42-6

I believe last years game between the Hornets and the Dragons, Coal Grove only won by 6 points.

Last I heard, he had a broken ankle and some torn ligaments so if that's true, that's the end of his junior season.
I think CG can still handle Fairland.

Wow....this happens when a team thinks it's going to be easy. Never underestimate an opponent.
Re: Fairland 34 Coal Grove 22
Absolutely no emotion from Coal Grove last night and absolutely no heart. The Grove looked like they were just going through the motions last night not really caring, both the players and the coaches showed no emotion toward the game. I give Fairland credit they played a great game, if I am correct they only ran three plays all night but the Grove wasn't stopping them so they kept running them. If this is an indication for week 10 then Rock Hill is going to steamroll the Hornets next week.
It just kills me, all the years of Coal Grove football that I have watched and I have never seen a team with less emotion and excitement for a game than what I saw last night. Pitiful.

wow, I never saw this coming at all. disappointing loss for the hornets , but good for the ovc getting fairland off the mat. now if we can get gahs and south point heading in the right direction, the league would be very deep.
