Re: Final: @ Portsmouth 69 Warren 66
VERY PROUD of our Trojans on the win, and I want to congratulate the Warriors on their effort.........both are very good basketball teams, and the 3 point shooting for a high school game was incredible..........I'm glad we won't see the Warriors in the tournament........WHS is definitely good enough to go to the regionals and perhaps beyond...........great to talk to Ex-Coach 78 and 32,16,6.........first class people and gracious after a tough loss.
Jayllen Carter and Duke Edwards continue to shine off the bench, and their play was much needed!!
Warren and Portsmouth are 3-3 vs. each other the last 3 years.........it has become quite a rivalry!!
I hope the Hastie kid can get back on the court soon........he is a fantastic shooter from behind the arc........in fact, 13 treys in all for WHS........I can't remember a game vs. the Trojans where the opponent had that many.
