If there is anything good to look at, if we can have that bad of execution of both sides of the ball and lose only by 11, then we have a real good team, O-line needs to learn how to block and we need to get those big guys on the O-line into a rotation on defense. Last night wasn't that Meigs was better, because there weren't, they just were more prepared.

On a side note, I want to say that I was very disgusted with the Meigs fans, if you don't have a sell out on your home bleachers don't sit on the visitors side. Thats classless sportsmanship.

Yea really, you can't say your better when you lost. CG doesnt know what hard nose football is. Meigs' line owned CG's on both sides of the ball. Meigs was the better team

Meigs did well Last night and proved alot of nonbelievers wrong, I think Meigs has a great squad this year and is a TVC contender.....Meigs has a solid defense behind Mason Metts and if you went to the game last night you would have seen #3 tearing up the field on offense......GO MEIGS :-D

Just to let you know, you're going way too far to say that Coal Grove doesn't know what hard nosed football is.

Well, I don't know what to say about the game. I'm not sure what team went and played there but it sure wasn't the team that I watched last week in the previews. And I could have sworn that the football must have had glue on it because if the ball was "suppose" to be passed, it didn't. I will have to say, I was amazed with how bad it really was and the coaches looked almost as dumbfounded as the players at times.

As for the Meig's fans, what was up with all of them in the visiting side bleachers?! And whomever was doing the "Hoo-raa" thing just about got tackled himself. I know when you go to games that at times the visiting teams fans will sometimes go to the home stands but there were ALOT of them on our side last night.

Meigs fans have been sittin there for many years...last time I checked ...there wasnt a rule for sitting on a certain side at a game. From my point of view....i believe it is a better view of the game up in the vistors side of the field at meigs.

OK lets complain about the fans that come out and cheer for us... who cares where they sit. Also, Meigs came out to win and thats what we did. If Meigs wasn't better they wouldn't have won. We didn't just come prepared.

you would not have heard the fans if coal grove would have won. meigs has more fans than the home side can hold. sadly in the tvc away fans normally stay away, which is to bad. i do not understand schools that do not cheer for their team.i say congrats to cg fans who drove 60 miles to be at the game. i also say that they had oppertunities to score several times and turned the ball over on downs. a missed tackle here a lucky move there, and it would have been much closer. by the way coach has been here for 9 years i think and was here as a prep player before that. he has shown great loyalty to meigs, and we are lucky to have him.

2nd man the grove disappointed tonight. outhit, outcoached, and outhustled. this could be one of the weakest lines the grove has had since lucas returned. our qb play has to improve and the defense needs to pick it up. we all small up front on d-line. you may say cg didn't give up any pts. in 2nd half but meigs did not open it up like they did in the first half. just ran the clock on us just like we ran the clock for them by pounding middle all second half and it wasn't working well. our traps were not working and couldn't get delawder open all night

3rd good luck to meigs on a successful yr. is your coach a veteran or fairly new. i was impressed with how they spread the ball around and used their speed. very well coached, congrats.
Glad you could make it. How was the directions? Yes Coach Chancey and most of his asst.'s have been together at Meigs for many years.
What wrong 2trap, afraid of us river rats. We won't bite. I just prefer to watch the game from that side, don't know why. At least we didn't have the cannon tunes in this week. If we did it would sound like you was getting BLOWN off the hill.

Not a great surprise here. If there is one thing that is consistent at CG it is inconsistency.

'Grats Meigs!
