Just wanted 2 add my opion 2. The "lil beans" (is what i call them) have more playing time then the Bteam has, more fun on the field and great coaches(Dolen & Case). Can u imagine trying to coach 15-20 2nd &3rd graders. It takes alot for this to happen. The coaches of these kids are trying their best and teaching them all they can for when they do go to bteam. They r trying to set up a tourney just for them which has never been done before. If the boys arent complaining parents should let them just have fun and learn and STOP complaining . And for those parents who get made because their kids get took off the field by a coach there is a reasson for this. The coaches are not going to let ur kids get hurt if they can help it and this is why most the time they are took off the field for a while. Kids at this age r very timid and to but them in pads and ssay hit can be very scary for some. Being a coaches wife and a parent of one who played c-team i understand both sides . But as a parent u have to let the coaches do what they think it best for the kids on the field.

THAT IS MY MISTAKE ON THE NUMBER OF GAMES AND I APOLOGISE. FOR SAYING THAT YOU CARE FOR ALL THE KIDS NOT JUST YOURS AND THAT YOU AND COACH DOLEN ARE WORKING HARD TO GET MORE GAMES SHEDULED THAT WAS NEVER A QUESTION AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANY OF OUR COACHING STAFF I WAS ALSO GLAD TO SEE COACH CRABTREE BACK TO HELP AS WELL. BUT ANSWERE THIS SHOULD IT BE UP TO YOU AND COACH DOLEN TO DO THIS OR SHOULD OUR BOARD TAKE CARE OF THIS WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY TALKING TO THE OTHER TEAMS AND FIND OUT THEN IF THEY HAVE A C TEAM AND GO AHEAD AND MAKE UP A SHEDULE THE TEEN OVC DO NOT HAVE TO RECOGNISE THIS BUT IF THE OTHER TEAMS HAVE C TEAMS MAKE THE TIME FOR A GAME WITH THEM GOING TO BE IN THIS LEAGUE FOR A FEW YEARS AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM GET MORE GAMES.

we tried at the teen ovc meeting to get a regular schedule and not all teams were willing to cooperate. to far for some to travel. but the idea was for whoevers b or a team to play the first game of the day thats whos c team was supposed to play and the same for the last game of the day but it hasnt seemed to work that way yet. that is just 1 of the many thing we are working on.

HORNETMOM I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE COACHING WE HAVE GREAT COACHES NOT JUST DOLEN AND CASE ALL OF THEM. THERE ARE OTHERS ON THE FIELD HELPING DURING PRACTICE AS WELL AS GAMES. AND I AM NOT COMPLAING ABOUT ANYBODY GETTING PULLED FROM THE GAME THAT IS THE DECISION OF THE COACH AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS IS A SPORT TO HAVE FUN AS WELL AS TO WIN AND TO KEEP YOUR PLAYERS FROM GETTING HURT. I AM NOT TELLING THE COACHES WHAT TO DO, I AGREE WHEN IT COMES TO PLAYING IT IS UP TO THE COACHES. I GUESS I WILL NOT POST ANYTHING ELSE I DO NOT WANT A LYNCH MOB TO COME AFTER ME FOR JUST STATING MY OPINION. LOL

Don't stop putting post on here. This is a place for everyone to blow off a little steam no harm towards anyone person or persons. My only thing with the C-team having regular games is that it would bring more money into everyones programs plus give the little ones something to play for. I'm sure everyone would agree that with more money comming into the programs would be better for every team. We play every Tuesday either at Coal Groves field or starting at Irontons field. These guys get plenty of play time. The 23rd of september I'm hosgting 3 C team games at Coal Groves field. With 1 ref clock will be ran and score kept. This will help get some of the one that don't know what a ref is to learn. Everything will be called just like in A and B games. there will be 2 15 minute halves running clock except for timeouts and out bounds.

I would like to thank all the C team coaches not just the ones from the Grove, but every program. They have all been very helpful to see that these little guys get plenty of playing time.

Again the pictures were on Tuesday and they had been scheduled for almost a week ahead. And the game on Saturday had 4 teams . 2 on each end . For us to call the games for just one set of teams would have been rude. The ohter problem was that we didn't have a clock operator or announcer until 9:30. These 2 gentlemen that volunteer to stay in that pressbox for 7 1/2 to 8 hours are wonderful. You ought to be thankful htat we can even get people to do that. They don't have any kids playing, they do it for the love of the kids. By the way did you volunteer to work in the concession stand that day? Where do you think that the money for the equipment andfootballs etc. come from ? If you are not willing to help then don't complain. If you want to see change next year I suggest that you run for the board and make sure everyone knows why you are running. My son also spent time on the "C team" and he never had an announcer or scoreboard or for that matter referees except for homecoming when they played a half of a game. I know there will probably be complaining on homecoming because these young ones only get a half a game but when you try to have 3 games on a weeknight it is hard to get them all in without being there all night and the older boys get preference just like in high school. Most of them have been playing for 4-5 years and deserve to get preference. It would also be easier to have things last a little longer if more of the c team parents would get involved and help to work concessions . Do you think that the b and a team parents want to have to work during their child's game and not get to watch? That's what happened last year to the a team parents because everyone said it was late and they wanted to go home. I guess we could let the cteam play last and work first and we would have enough a team parents to cover because they don't care to be there all night because they know it is for the league. It is no different in real life you work your way up the ladder. It teaches them that if you work hard and improve you get rewarded. This is a good lesson for life. Thanks for your opoinion on the situation but here is the other side that most people don't know about.(everything that is involved in making an event like saturday come to pass. it doesn't just happen on it's own.)

AGAIN I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ANNOUNCERS THEY DID A GREAT JOB, AND DID ANNOUNCE FOR THE WHOLE DAY. I WAS SAYING THAT THE LACK OF ANNOUNCING FOR THE LITTLE GUYS IT IS HARD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHINGS PREFORMANCE WHEN THERE WASN'T ANY. WHAT ABOUT ANNOUNCING THE TEAMS NAME AND NUMBER AT THE START AND THEN LET IT GO AT THAT THE ANNOUNCERS DID DO A GOOD JOB AND I THINK THEY HAD FAMILY PLAYING FOR THE A OR B TEAM AND HAS FAMILY ON THE BOARD NEVER THE LESS WAS THERE FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. AND I DID NOT GET ASKED TO HELP, OR KNEW WHO TO TALK TO.

There will be announcers for the homecoming and for your tourney for the little ones. The names were all announced at the bteam game because that is what is on the ovc roster. If you see me coming at the practice field with a notebook you'll know I'm looking for volunteers. Alot of people tend to run the other way   Just come and see me before the homecoming and I'll put you to work. I appreciate any help we can get.
