I asked everyone that was at the field for a couple of days but sometimes it is hard to track down everyone when there are games and scrimmages going on and everyone is at different fields. If you don't care to pass on the info to the rest of the other parents ,we are in need of volunteers for October 6. That is homecoming. There will be 3 games or half games . We have to get the teams scheduled yet. Thanks!

Everyone has to pay their dues and due some sideline time. This is a contact sport not a participation sport. The consequences of putting boys in that aren't ready is more than just losing a game , it could result in injury and the end of someones football career for the rest of their time in school. The safety of the boys should be the first priority not how much time they are playing.

I agree with you gogrove. My son started out on the "C team" his 2nd grade year and, at the time, I was worried about the same things that most "C team" parents are. Boy was I wrong, that was the best thing that coach could've ever done for him. As much as I hated to admit it; it was obvious that my son wasn't ready for B team level football games and placing him on the "c team" allowed for him to have game exerience without the consequences of playing against the bigger, more experienced, boys. It was the best thing for him at the time. He enjoyed it, he learned the game, he was safe, and it made him a better player.

*To all the "C team" parents:Relax while you can, enjoy it while you can!!! You will soon wish you had these years back! .

It honestly seems like yesterday we were just starting out and those other boys looked sooooo much bigger than mine. My son is on the A team now and we're enjoying football again, but thats not always been the case. He once told me that his favorite time on the B team was his first year (2nd grade). I actually had to agree with him. It was my favorite year on the B team too! I guess that coach knew what he was doing afterall!
