Re: Portsmouth
I'll be going to the scrimmage and then to the fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus afterwards for some food and adult beverages
Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
score after first two quarters of Varsity was Portsmouth 18, Valley 14.\
Valley had the game in hand , 14 to 12, and the ball, with under 2 minutes, and fumbled.
Portsmouth recovered and Mowery/ Molery?....took a hand off up the middle for a 50 yard T D .
Myers looked pretty good throwing the ball to Johnson in the first Quarter, then Johnson got ejected from the game early in the second, leaving Myers without Johnson or Malik White, "White has a strained ankle".
Valley looked good, esp passing the ball, good luck to them on the season.

bdowgg; How was the Indian defense overall? Size? Speed? It's hard to keep up being 900 miles away.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
not a whole lot of size, but pretty quick, and tackled good, Portsmouth lines are pretty big, and they seemed to handle them alright.
I dont remember the names they was calling, but Valley looked to have a coupkle of recievers that could catch, and was pretty fast after they caught them, I think, they threw for 2 long touch downs.
this looks to be a good team for the Indians ,IMO.

Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
Heard rumblings that Johnson will have to sit out a game or two for being ejected. Is this true?
Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
not sure how that works, if it had been a regular season game he would, not sure about preveiws.

Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
we had a kid, that had to sit at least one (I believe two) games for getting ejected from a middle school game. He was on the sideline and said something to a ref I guess. If that was so, wouldn't this be the same. It was an OHSAA event because they charged to get in. By the way, I thought you couldn't charge for scrimmages? Previews heck, it was a scrimmage.
Re: Portsmouth @ Valley
Why did he get ejected?
Siderman, South Point charged to get in the Minford/SP scrimmage last week. I was surprised but $2 isnt much.
