Ok, I took the bait, love these polls. But, I am assuming we are using these teams? And what are the boundaries? Out of these ten teams I would rank this way, although I think you have left off a few good teams.

1 Sheridan
2 Logan
3 Ironton
4 New Lexington
5 Portsmouth
6 Chillicothe
7 Jackson
8 Whellersburg
9 Zanesville
10 Trimble

This would be fun if it were clear of what Southern Ohio perimeters are, and we could get the top teams picked. Southeastern Ohio my top 3 would stay, but the rest would change. No way is Trimble, or Zanesville even close to playing with the big boys in Southeastern Ohio this year. My top ten Southeastern Ohio teams would look like this. As I know Southeastern Ohio perimeters.

1 Lancaster
2 Sheridan
3 Logan
4 Ironton
5 New Lexington
5 Portsmouth
6 Chillicothe
7 Bellaire
8 Lancaster Fisher Catholic
9 Jackson
10 Barnesville

I know last year or year before when the sites top teams were ranked we used the team list as of what conferences the site covered and those teams in it plus the Indy teams like South Gallia.

The SEOPS boundary for our poll is basically the SEOAL, TVC, SOC I+II, SVC, OVC, and somtimes the MVL. We go back and forth every other year with the MVL. I like to include them. Here would be my pre-season top 10:

1. Tri-Valley
2. Logan
3. Sheridan
4. Chillicothe
5. Ironton
6. Westfall
7. Wheelersburg
8. Waverly
9. Piketon
10. Portsmouth
Other Receiving Votes: New Lexington, John Glenn, Nelsonville-York, Jackson, Coal Grove, South Point, Adena

Since when is Sheridan considered in SEO polls? In 3 years I have never seen them on a single thread about basketball or football. Lancaster although IMO should be considered because they are in SEO I thought was usually excluded because they were in the OCC.

gymratt -

Sheridan is SE of Zanesville, south of 70, compete in the SE District according to the OHSAA, etc. What about them DOESN'T make them SE Ohio?

Lancaster is considered Central District by the OHSAA unlike Sheridan.

I'm surprised to see everyone leaving Minford off of this list. I'm not a big Minford fan, but I have a feeling they are going to be a very solid team this year and will contend for the SOC II title and a playoff berth.

Why is Chillicothe getting so much love? Didn't they go 3-7 last season?

4-6 Chillicothe went last year. They have some good talent, especially with Knights at QB.

But with their non-league schedule, they may finish at 6-4ish.
