Boyd Co plays Symmes Valley at 6;45

Greenup Greysbranch plays Ironton Bills at 8pm


Sunday 5;15 winner of Russell/Coal Grove

Sunday 6:30 winner of Boyd/Symmes Valley

Monday 6;45....winner of Raceland/Rock Hill

I heard from the Ironton Eagles coach that they were not coming but they hadn't called yet. I believe the other ironton team said they weren't coming either.

Spoke to the coach at Raceland last night after i read this post. he says he does not know how it is going to pan out. He says that they will have to change the brackets now and see if they can work it out. I would say that some teams will be changing games to make it a good series and not just give the two scheduled teams BYES to go forward. It will be intersting, because Rock Hill, Raceland, Coal Grove, Greenup and Boyd County I have seen or know of the players. I know nothing about Symmes Valley or McKell. This could really be a great BOWL series..

I like what u(devilologist) had to say on a previous post,Ohio vs. Kentucky bowl.I thank it would be great for the kids,and alot of fun for the onlookers.It would be nice to get this established and see it carry on!What the heck get a team in from portsmouth and we can call the series "THE BATTLE FOR THE ROCK"Winner gets to keep the coveted INDIAN ROCK.This would save the state of Kentucky lots of money maybe they would take that money and sponsor such an event!

Raceland makes around 12-15,000 on this bowl game series. They make the same at the end of the season with the black bowl too. Around 20-30,000 a year from these two bowls.. Great way to make money.

Why are the ironton teams stillon the schedule?I'm quite certain that they are not planning on taking part in the bowl series.

This is the format for Saturday we will start from there.

I think if the the Ironton teams do not show that that will give the other team a bye.

Anyway it goes Raceland or Rockhill will get a bye on Sunday and play Monday at 6:45 pm. The winner of that game Race/HIll game will play the winner of the Russell/CG game and the West Carter/ IB winner, following that showdown on Sunday 5:15pm

Winner of the BOYD/ Symmes Valley game will play the winner of the GREYSBRANCH/ IB winner on Sunday at 6;30pm.; This winner and the winner of the Monday 6;45 game will play Thursday at 6:45 for the championship.

First prediction of the bowl, somebody wins it and then there will be 9 teams that did not,, whos it gonna be??????
