Roseberry had 2 for Waverly and I believe 4 others also scored. It was a 2-2 tie at the half and 4-2 for much of the 2nd half. Very physical game, but it was pretty clean overall. Markins played very well for Unioto, but they just couldn't keep Waverly out of the net.

Logan girls varsity lost to Amanda Clearcreek tonight 4-1. Logan's goal was scored by Brandy Meyers.

Logan varsity boys won 3-2, with goals scored by Ryan Cassady, Mike Meadows, and Patrick Bachmann. Logan had a 2-0 lead at the half...but the Aces came out strong in the second half and challenged Logan the entire 40 minutes. Amanda Clearcreek tied the score with less than 10 minutes left in the game, but Logan's Bachmann answered with a goal with less than two minutes remaining for the win.

I have to disagree that it was a "clean" match...I won't name any names, but there were a lot of cheap shots tonight and several very poor displays of sportsmanship, including a red card!

The Yellow/Red was deserved, but wasn't for a dirty play, just a ridiculously dumb argument with an official. You are right, there were some chippy plays, but for the most part, I thought it was kept under control.

Tyler McClure scored the 3rd goal for Unioto with about 5 minutes left.

THE DIFFERENCE IN THE GAME WAS AFTER HALF TIME WAVERLY STOPPED MARKING LOPEZ AND PUT THEIR CENTER MIDFIELDER BACK IN POSITION TO CONTROL THE GAME.

From the East District.......there are only three teams in Division III.

Woodsfield Monroe Central is 1-0 defeating Oak Glen, WVa. 3-1.

Steubenville Central Catholic is 2-1 defeating Steubenville 3-0 and Indian Creek and lost to Linsley School of Wheeling WVa. 1-2.

Berlin Hiland is 1-3 losing to Coshocton 0-1, Warsaw Riverview 0-2 and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy 0-4. Their win was Rittman 5-1.
