Chillicothe 5
Zanesville 1

Tony Skowronek returns after missing two games due to an injury, nets 3 goals and logs one assist. Had to wear protective mask.

Cavs now 6-1 overall; 5-0-0 in SEOAL play.

Next game: Home vs Circleville Sat 9/13

Another great defensive performance from the Bulldogs and a good result for Athens on the road.

FU moves to 6-1.
This could`ve and should`ve been alot worse. FU probably had 45 shots, not all of them good shot selection. It was senior night so a couple seniors who wouldn`t normally play got lots of time and everyone, including JV, got lots of time. Coach wasn`t trying to run up the score at all.

Smeltzy- Those of us who have seen an LE team in the past knows that 6-0 is nothing. That actually looks better than most other scores against them.

Marietta lost to Highland(Medina) 4-0. The parents at medina said that they are 6-0 (7-0 now) with 36 total goals for and only 4 against them. Very good team

Marietta takes on Chilly @ home Tuesday.

Soccernut......Medina may be a good team, but the 6-0 record and the great "goals for" and "goals against" comes from less than stellar competition.

The combined records of their 6 opponents was 9-19-7. Four of those wins were from one team. Three of their wins came from teams with one win, and one of the teams was winless. They beat one team with a winning record.

Just trying to make a point...it's really important to look at a team's competition and how they do against good squads.

What was the Zane Trace vs Eastern Brown score? I know ZT won, but I missed the score. Anyone know the Eastern Brown vs Lynchburg Clay score(s)? They have played at least once and possibly twice from what I can make out.
