Athens just didn't finish their opportunities in this road game and it was one of those games. Athens missed at least four point-blank chances. Athens only gave up three shots on net and Fisher finished one of them. Most teams have had a bump in the road so far. Hopefully, this is just an off game and they will move on. At least it wasn't a loss, but certainly not a game Athens will be happy with themselves about.

This game can be a distant memory and blip on the radar with a good game on Thursday at home vs. Warren. I think maybe the Athens boys got caught looking ahead to the big game against Warren. A good lesson for the players to follow the old cliche: one game at a time.

On a side note, We FU fans were really impressed with the size of crowd for Alexander. That says alot when you can draw that big of a crowd when you are not having quite the season that you are used to. Congratulations. We wish that we could get that support in our league.
