Ironton - Burg? Deja Vu All Over Again?

Like so many of your fellow posters you have trouble with facts. Fact Logan beat a D-1 team not a team the size of D-2 Logan. The honest truth is Ironton TRIED to beat a smaller division team but he BURG smacked Ironton around for the second consecutive year.

While we are at it. Logan plays a D-1 team again this week. Ironton is playing a team from Canada. So desparate for a win Ironton will do anything. Very sad.

Ironton is now 10-12 in their last 22 games against US teams.

True and as it stands in this decade alone Ironton has double the amount of playoff appearances and wins as Logan does since Logan started playing football. So your little 10-22 idea is pretty crazy when you consider that fact 2old.

I thought Lancasters numbers was down Because of pay to play. they have alot less kids this year. I heard several would be starters played somewhere else. 400 dollars is alot to pay for a kid to play.

Haven't been on here a while, and it makes me laugh to read all these posts, comments, whatever. Ironton won't lose again, they will go to state, Murphy is a D-1 player, they are playing a team from Canada that is terrible and should win, etc., etc., blah blah blah. It kills me, makes me laugh hard, all the "back and forth" stuff. Fact is Ironton is playing a team from Canada, which was already scheduled prior, and yes they are terrible, but it was a done deal. Ironton got beat, they are soft period. May have some size, but they are lazy and soft alot of times. Come on, people talking like they can hang with some other schools, going to Massillon? Not going to happen. They will get better, no doubt every team does, but, they aren't playing D-1 and D-2 teams like in the past, look at the schedule. They will do good playing with what they got. Can't be looking ahead any further than the next game. I would love to see them do good, and I hope they do, BUT running fullback 55 and 55 about twenty times in the second half alone, is not going to help. Playcalling was suspect, and some of the players are suspect. No drive, showed it at times, but not all the time. There isn't a D-1 player out there, got to want it, and everyone saw it, that is all I heard was how soft. It is hard to watch period. And I could go on and on, because I know football. And it is a hard pill to swallow when Ironton gets beat by a team from a division lower....period. I know that stuff didn't happen back in the day. Hope they get some DRIVE about them, hope they do well real quick. And attitudes probably do have alot to do with it, whomever said that
