and there was some talk of brass monkeys at badin. I know they had a big flag like ironton has at the tank. and that thing looked like it was made of plywood. it never dropped.

Minford vs. Germantown Valley View at Hilard in 2000, I was pretty young, so it might be exaggerated but I had never been so cold at a football game in my life.

When Burg played Hartley for regional at NY a couple years back that was one cold game and btw I think cold weather is an advantage for teams up north it's always a bit more warm down south and their bodies are more adapt to the cold. I also believe if that game would have been in the 60 degree range Burg would have played much better not saying they would have won but I think that cold in that game played a factor.

2005 Logan at Hilliard Davidson in the first round of the playoffs. I was on the sidelines for that game, and that is the coldest game I remember being at.

Ironton and Hamilton Badin at Dublin is the coldest game In Ironton history I think. I know it's the coldest I've ever been and I played college ball in Canton. One of my uncles friends smashed his hand in the car door when they got to the game. It wasn't until he got halfway home that his hand was thawed enough for it to start bleeding and hurting.

2000 Logan vs Upper Arlington in Crew stadium. Snowing, wind blowing into the stadium everyone bundled up in two or three blankets.

I don't know how cold it was, but last season, when 8-0 Caldwell came to visit 8-0 Fort Frye, it was probably the most exciting finish in school history, but I walked home at halftime because it was cold and I am a pansy.
