The Waterford Lady Cats have definetly played well all summer in the many shootouts that they attended. They have also worked extremely hard all summer such as going to the gym.

Basketball is just around the corner. The Lady Cats have a tough out of conference schedule. This will be the test that will help come tourament time.

The ladies have played lots of AAU ball this summer, several shoot-outs, and lots of gym time. Kept up the hard work, ladies it will pay off. Good luck this year Ladies.

Monday offically starts practice. Although these ladies have played, practiced in one form of another since last season ended. Get some great practices in this week ladies as friday there is the scrimage with Berlin Hiland at Berlin Hiland. Test one of many challanges by the tougher schedule this year. All of which will prepare the Lady Cats for another run in the tournament. Good Luck...GO LADY CATS

Great to see the schedule beefed up! This will only help once the tournament comes around! Oak Hill and Parkersburg South will be good tests! Marietta and Bucyrus, not so much.

You are right Bucyrus is a very good team. Don't worry....Waterford will not overlook anyone. They do not take any team lightly. I think Waterfords schedule is very tough. I will say one thing though, no matter what happens, those girls hate to lose and they will never quit playing! Good Luck to the Lady Wildcats this season.

I think these girls will stay extremely focussed this year...they are sick of getting so far in the tournaments only to be stopped by Africentric. These girls are hungry to go even farther into tournaments and are willing to do whatever it takes. they work hard in and out of season and love the game of basketball. Coach Close and Coach Augenstien are also willing to do anything for their team and they continue to do a wonderful job. Once again... best of luck to these wonderful girls.

The Lady Cats looked good at the scrimage at Berlin Hiland last friday. There were five teams at the scrimage-DI-Coshocton(sp?), DI-Akron Firestone, DI-Walsh Jesuit, DV-Berlin Hiland and DV-Waterford. The Lady Cats scrimage at Mayesville Wed, (also Sheridan) then have Minford and Nelsonvile at Waterford Sat. Good luck to the Lady Cats this week.

These ladies showed some major intensity in the preview. They never let up and it seems they have brought back the same defensive pressure that this team is known for. The defensive effort by this team should allow them to hold their own in any tournament match up. Keep up the good work ladies.

Ok, Lady Cats let's get this one at home. A win here will go a long way towards the TVC Title. The lady cats will be hungry to avenge the loss at the Convo to Oak Hill sat and to get ready for more revenge at Fort Frye sat night for the loss at Beverly last year. Let's make this a big week LADY CATS. Give it your all, no holds barred, this is redemption week.
