It sounds like NY is going to put together a nice season, and a lot of credit should be given to the off-season and preseason conditioning programs. In both games so far, NY has dominated play in the 2nd half, and that is a good quality for a football team to have in close games.

Would like to congratulate the Buckeyes on the win. A good, hard fought game right down to the last play. Arnold is a very good player; runs hard on offense, hits hard on defense. The quarterback did a nice job running the offense. was a better passer than I thought he would be. The Buckeye lines, I think, were the deciding factor tonight. They did a good job slowing down the Red Streak pass rush, plus they didn't let the Red Streak rushing attack get going. Don't know how the league the Buckeyes play in is, but they should do well.

Red Streaks, another tough loss. Keep the heads up high; show class in victory (and they will come) and in defeat. Learn from this game, and prepare for Northwest. Listen to the coaches, not the naysayers. The coaches are the ones running the show, not the folks in the stands. Go Streaks!

91Buckeye wrote:Good job Bucks, great win. Piketon has a very nice football team with some exceptional athletes, I was surprised by how well they throw the football for a run oriented team. I think the conditioning was the deciding factor in the game. The second half was dominated by NY's defense and I credit the coaching staff for having the boys in excellent shape. Good luck the rest of the way Redstreaks you should be very proud of that group of young men, they left everything they had on the field for the second straight week, and that's all you can ask of anyone.

We are proud of them, I have coached them in the lower levels and they work hard. Congrats to the Buckeyes, conditioning was the factor IMO.

I enjoyed my time in Piketon...
Easy to find stadium- Just off the highway.
Good food.
Nice people.
Nice stadium.
Announcer could have been better..Got the names wrong all night and that stupid "Here comes the streaks". I kept looking for the streakers, but I never saw even one!
