Actually, if you were able to read, with any level of comprehension, you would know that they didn't blame their loss on the 'classless' fans of Meigs( I wasn't at the game), they simply made reference to it. Geesh, let's move on to the topic at hand, next Friday.

Who used that as an excuse, I posted on our thread about the Meigs game that the Meigs fans on our side was classless espcially the one who thought he was Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman", but that wasn't why we lost, we lost due to lack of execution and our guys not looking prepared.

Don't expect for us not to be prepared this week, I truely believe Lucas will have our boys ready and they now have something to prove, I see the Hornets winning this one.

Paint Valley finished last year at 6-4. However, their 6 wins came against teams with a combined record of 12-48, including 0-10 Unioto.
The Grove lost a tough one last week after the long bus ride up to Meigs. I look for the Hornets to rebound and take this one by two scores.

I think that this one will come down to field position and special teams...I think that these teams are evenly matched and a missed extra point could be the deciding factor in this one.

i hope cg's deep pass secondary can pick it up this week. this secondary looks like the one a few yrs back when chesapeake beat us with thornburg on the deep ball. does cg. have the same secondary coach as then. sure looks that way. after time and time again with different players but same result you have to wonder if it is the secondary coach.

It's Coal Grove; the secondary looks like that every year. Coal Grove bases their defense on the set-up of their offense - defend the run up the middle, give em at least 4 yards around the ends, and don't worry about the deep ball because we.... cough cough... I mean.... THEY won't throw it.
focus 7-8 people on the middle and pray they come straight at us.
With all I'm hearing about Paint Valley, this sounds like it should be a good game. I'll take Coal Grove because they don't have to make the drive from Ross County and plus Coal Grove will be fired up after getting beaten last week.
