I think River Valley has the ability to win, but I'd say the Oaks will be fired up after the tough loss + the game is at Oak Hill.
River Valley - 20
Oak Hill - 35+

I think maybe River Valley pulls out the win in this one. Oak Hill program has to be in termoil after the disappointing loss and they have 2 kids that must sit out this game, 1 being their running back for being tossed from last game.

One loss and the Oak Hill program is in turmoil? It will definitely hurt to not have Dupree and Fisher, but I think the Oaks will win this game. As long as they cut out the turnovers, Oak Hill should be fine in my opinion.

Well.......let's see.......first off part of me felt this one could get ugly when I first saw it on the RV schedule. However, after being TOTALLY shocked by Peake upsetting Oak Hill (Peake was picked by many to finish last in the OVC, with RV right above them) I now think that this game will be closer then most think. RV is gonna have to be better defensively and they are gonna HAVE to defend against the pass, with Slone at QB for the Oaks. Should be a good one! I'm excited to come to Oak Hill's facilities!
GO RAIDERS!!!!

Well to all the oak hill boys...keep your head up and keep on keepin on, coming from a former player i love oak hill and i love the program, its a proud tradition of good clean football...the pete incident was bad fortune of a good player, an chris was just sticking up for a teamate...i woulda done the same thing. Dont ever underestimate your opponents an play hard, Oak Hill by 7 if they play Oak Hill football!

The Oaks have the edge but this game will be closer than what people think.

River Valley has some big boys and they are also good athletes, as they proved at Minford last week, I would not underestimate this team, as they scared Minford by striking first blood last Fri.. The Raiders play hard for all 4 quarters and will not give up. Oak Hill is a talented laiden team and should win this game, but an upset by River Valley would not surprise me at all.
Re: WK 2 (0-1) River Valley @ (0-1) Oak Hill
Oak Hill has two starters suspended due to fighting, so that plays in River Valley's favor.
River Valley 24
Oak Hill 14

I think River Valley will get their first win this season. Good luck, Raiders.

Let's go out on a limb and say...
The team which makes the fewest mistakes will win, no?

Re: WK 2 (0-1) River Valley @ (0-1) Oak Hill
Our line needs to give Jessie some time. Weston needs to keep running the ball hard. Hale and Jesse need some more jump balls. Maynard needs to get more looks and hopefully not cramping up this week. We cant turn the ball over 7 times or we will lose again. Jessie had a pretty hard hit friday night when he drilled that guy into our sideline after he threw that interception. Maybe he should play defense and everyone tell him he just threw an interception to make another hit like that. Also #12 for the Oaks not sure of a name, but this kid was killer on special teams for us. Any chance he will be playing for pete this week?

Perkins is his name I believe and he did seem to play hard. I would play Jesse on D also but that is just me. I do not know if he is prone to injuries or not, have to get better to compete in these next few games.
Playoffs are a long way off but with our schedule, in my estimation we need to win out.
