Re: WK 2 (1-0) Logan @ Pickerington North
Logan needs to re-focus and prepare for a big game this Friday night. It'll be the Chiefs first road game and the first home game for the Panthers.
Jairius Campbell, Alex Bayer, and Justin Young are legitimate D1 prospects, and the Panthers have always played solid, especially with Coach Tom Phillips helping to turn around the program.
They are defending OCC defending champs, and will be ready to play on Friday night.
Go Chiefs!

Re: WK 2 (1-0) Logan @ Pickerington North
If Logan becomes complacent they have a possibility to lose this one.
Like Locos stated, this is the first home game for the Panthers and they will be pumped up and ready to show the home crowd what they can do.
My pick for this game is of course Logan by a score of 28-17........could be closer or the other way around if Pick North comes ready to play and Logan looks forward to Week 11.

Logan's defense proves too much for Pick North. Logan 27-7.

Its on Refugee Rd. I think if you take Pickerington Rd you turn left on Refugee and its right there. Went there for WLGN a few years ago.

D&C -
You can go a couple of different ways. The school sits almost at the corner of Refugee and Pickerington Road, so you can just take Pickerington Road off 33 up to the school.
You can also take Hill Road up, then go right on Refugee and follow till you reach the school.
I'm not sure which of those to are easier, both times I've gone to North ('04 and '06) I drove from Columbus, where you can just catch 256 from 70 and take it down to Refugee.

They are doing a lot a construction on Hill Rd.You don't know if it will be opened for through traffic. Pickerington Rd. is close to Lancaster so if coming that way Pick. Rd would be closer.

That would be my plan as well.
Like I said, I have ever driven to North from Logan. I've been there three times (once for a JV game) and came from Columbus every time.

'87 Chief -
Pickerington is led by a pair of Bowling Green verbal commitments. The first is Alex Bayer, a 6-4, 226lbs multi-purpose back. He is considered to be the "Tim Tebow" of the OCC, but think of the freshman year Tebow, not the Heisman winner. He will line-up as a tight end, wide receiver, running back, and quarterback. Officially, he is an H-Back, flexing between the backfield and split out wide. He also completed 3 of 5 passes Friday night and caught 6 passes for 95 yards. He also starts at Free Safety and had an INT last week.
The second BGSU commit is 6'5, 240lbs tackle/defensive end Jairus Campbell. Campbell is a solid pass rusher from his end spot where he recorded 2-3 sacks against Logan last season. He has added tackle to his resume this year as well.
Also returning is All-District Guard/Defensive tackle B.J. DeCarlo (6-0, 217lbs).
Others returning starters are junior running backs Gianni Lynch (6-0, 195) and Matt Ferguson (5-10, 185). Lynch ran for over 800 yards and 7 TDs in 8 games last year as a sophomore, and Ferguson had 2 TDs last week against Central Crossing.
Receivers Alfred Roberts (SR, 6-1, 175), Justin Young (SR, 6-4, 195), and Chris Johann (6-0, 175) are returning starters as well.
North has a lot of talent to run the spread offense from. Hopefully the Chieftain defensive line and secondary will be ready to meet the challenge.
