Good Luck to Coach Schob and the Tigers. Darby would be a tough match-up for anyone in the SEOAL. Hopefully they can bounce back this week.

are there any significant injuries for the Tigers this week?
Haven't heard much about Cambridge, but they did play a very good game against a tough Parma Heights Holy Name squad. The green wave is always a tough group.

While I believe in Coach Shoub and his staff. In all honesty The Tigers have a tough start to the season with back to back tough opponents. Hope for the best but look for a long evening for the Tiger faithful.

I will stand by the Tigers all the way. I said they would fight and win. The win fell short, But they pushed and pushed. The kids and coaches should be proud, i know i am. Down by 27 a half and almost pulling off a win, GREAT JOB. The 08 TIGERS will fight every game win or not, we are coming to fight. I think we can win every game.......

I am not saying this to make an excuse. The Tigers did not make enough plays to win the game. They played their hearts out and all the Tiger faithful in the stands were proud.
That being said, this was the worst officiated game I have seen in a long time. Marietta was hurt by many holding penalties in the first half on plays where they happened to convert third downs. Kids pushing and shoving after the whistle and Marietta flagged for unsportsmanlike 4 times but Cambridge only once. The Marietta Times article says both teams had ten penalties. This can be deceiving as Cambridge was flagged 6 times in the last four minutes of the game to "even out" the number of penalties.
The Tigers let it get to them a little early but put it behind them and controlled the second half. They were just in to much of a hole to get out.
Time to get ready for some Quakers.
