As fans we build the players&coaches up so much,there is only way to go which is down.The same people that are saying that coach E IS best coach since slice bread,if he goes 0-2 they will be the same people that question him being hired...

Fed Hock has by far the toughest schedule and it is possible to go 2-7 in the first 9 games no question there,
Fairland,Wheelersburg,RockHill,Trimble,Waterford,Eastern are all tough games, but we'll see what happens

Wheelersburg? What are they thinking. That will be ugly no matter were they play it.

The FED boys should be able to play with these teams. They played alot bigger named teams than Wheelersburg or Rock Hill at a younger age and did just fine, not saying that these two teams are not realy good, But I don't the think pressure will get to them. I'm sure coach E will have these kids ready to play. These kids have the talent to play with any team on there schedule.

Just want to point out one thing here. All of the positive comments about the new coach have come from people in the communities where he has previously coached.

No one from Fed Hock is saying that the Coach is the second coming of the Messiah, or is bucking for his induction into the High School Basketball Coaches Hall-of-fame either.

Naysayers and doubters from outside the community can bash away all that they want, but that and a dollar may buy you a small coffee at Micky D's....

I might add that most of the posters "boasting" about E's ability have either coached with him, played for him, or coached against him at some point. That is the biggest praise one can get especially when players say that they would still play for him to this day.

No but if you know anything about basketball in Southeastern Ohio than you would know Wheelersburg is one of the top teams in the State and have been for years.

Things change everyday.......Like I said Wheelersburg is a good team i'm sure, but never count a team out, because that will be the one to beat you. The lancers will be in every game.

They will finish in the top four of the TVC Hocking, my guess is 3rd.

I see the TVC hocking very even this year with the exception of Miller.

Note: Even TVC Hocking = No tourny success for anyone, sorry.

There is my top three for the TVC Hocking for the upcoming season!

And RandomGuy i disagree... I do believe that Federal has a good shot at becoming Sectional Champs and should beat Eastern out for the TVC Title once again.

great coach or not dont' think they will be a powerhouse...they have had some good teams in the past but don't think this is going to be one of those years.

If they competed in Jr. High, my experience would lead me to bet they will compete now as high schoolers. However, you saw what happened to Pete Rose when he bet!!!!
