After the first soc match Clay leads Eastern by 1 stroke. Easterns 1 man shot 38, 2 man shot 36, and 3 man shot 38 and they still lost while taking a 56 from the 4 man.

Ironton, West Union, Wheelersburg and Gallia Academy are all very good teams in Southern Ohio.

I heard Clay beat Wheelersburg in the Portsmouth Invitational. But Wheelersburg beat them in the Ironton Invitational.
West Union only beat Clay by 3 strokes.

Clay beat Burg in the Portsmouth Invitational. Burg had a player withdraw (sick). Burg beat Clay in the Ironton invite by 20 strokes. Clay finished 9th of 12.

Wheelersburg's low score for the year was 150 at Shawnee, 152 at Dogwood Hills.
Clay probably got down in the 160's somewhere this year.

I believe Clay's 332 was still 10 behind West Union from the Ports. Inv.

I do believe Clay is leading by quite a few strokes and one more match left to decide the SOC champs for the year. They also have the same team coming back next year!!!!!!

5 of the top 9 are returning for Burg. Four seniors graduated including Dials, Rawlings, J. Boyer and Montavon.

Wish I could have one more year with my teamates that I had and go back and play in the SOC again. I really miss going to matches!
