Portsmouth needs this one in a large way when it comes to Harbin points but I can not see them getting it. I will take the burg,35-20.

Pretty hard to judge by the common opponent. Portsmouth beat them 28-15 at home in their first week, Burg beat them 28-20 on the road the 2nd week. I think it's going to be a really good game.

Burg looked a little "rough" against SP...we will have to see what team shows up.

Our forefathers brought ...... Burggrad, you jinxed me. 4 tds is a milestone in this game. Only happens when one team is so dominate. And that only happens... well look at the game results someone has already posted. Portsmouth will be ready to play. Burg needs to watch out and get the defense aligned after the loss of Lang. SP didnt do anything I wasnt expecting them to. They ran counters and ran it right up the gut afterwards. Same thing as last year, we just didnt execute. but we won!!!! Oh yeah, they beat us to the outside also. We are needing our new DE to pick up where the Burg vs ironton defense left off. The new DE needs to work hard and he will be OK! I have no doubt. But if in doubt, take on the block with right or left foot firmly planted, squared to the backfield, then look for the ball and adjust accordingly. Hopefully going straight in to make a sack or runnning left or right to make the runner cut inside so Hall or White can eliminate him!! Yeah, what an airmchair player. Thats what I am!

the burg's defense better pick it up (read your keys). their quickness worked against them a little last week. but-- give south point credit they have a pretty good team. best 0-2 team in our area. i thought their backs were great at cutting back against the grain. i remember a few plays--- (they ran the "jet" to the left) and there was nothing there #3 planted his foot did a 180 and ran completely to the other side of the field.

keys for beating PHS--no turnovers, special teams (no big returns), offense sustaining drives keeping PHS offense off the field, defense has to contain Myers.
