Great job Pirates. Defense had that bend but don't break attitude again. Good pressure on Myers all night long. Never really got set enough to throw the long ball to the speedy receivers.


Now about the officials. That had to be the worst crew I have ever seen on a football field. Can someone explain to me why the two back guys, stood on each sideline and why didn't one of them stand in the middle of the field., where the QB's could see the one counting down the play clock? Those two guys were so far away from the action, they couldn't of seen much going on. The intentional grounding call against Myers was absolutely horrible. It was not intentional grounding but more on the lines the receiver went one way and Myers threw the other way. Absoultely horrible call that late in the game. They had way to many pow-wows to try and decipher what the call was and how much yardage should be marked off. It was almost as if theyn made it about them and not the kids. I have never seen that many offensive offsides called in a game in my life.

Great effort by both teams. Ptown never quit, even down 28-0. Great sportsmanship shown by both teams.

thank you!!...I said the same thing, someone run the wrong play, and no way that was grounding, it wouldnt have made any difference in the game, but I cant belive he called that.


and also, I wasnt going to say anything about it, and make it look like an excuse for our loss, we got beat by a better team,,,congrats on the win, and best of luck on the year, the new coach up there is fitting right in.

Now for the game in the first half does Portsmouth not have a kicker or does Clifford just not believe in field goals? When Portsmouth had the ball I believe on the Burg 2 with 1st and goal and got some flags thrown on them with 4th down in field goal range he decided to go for it instead of taking the points to make it at the time would have been 14-3.

youre never in field goal range , when you struggle kicking extra points, its just something we never have the luxury of.

go recruit a kicker...I am sure Valley and I know New Boston still have kick ball programs. East needs a field goal kicker too...but no luck getting one from new boston

even though they give up the points they did, I think they looked a lot better tonight, I do think, for us to win, we have to Have Josh Myers and Malike White, and even Forrest playing both ways, we was a lot better on D when Myers and White was in there on D
