Well I see the Falcons winning this one too. Minford will need to come out fast n stay on the gas when they get up, I think they learned that from last week. Go Red! Keep moving in the rigth direction with another W!

Minford played a fairly solid game against a weak opponent, and IMO the score could have been more lopsided had it not been for the 1st quarter monsoon that made the ball and the field very slick. Im not positive but I believe the Falcons held the Hunstmen to less than 10yds in the entire first half. The brightest area would have to be the d-line and the linebackers, they were smothering and dominant. The weakest area would be that the Falcons had several penalties that killed drives, and their were some fumbles also. Next week should be a great game as the Hornets of Coal Grove travel to Minford for a good matchup of 2 very physical ball clubs.
GO RED!!

Minford rushed for over 300 yards again, so the o-line had to be getting the job done. Slone was really impressive and is going to be tough. The defense completely owned Huntington in the first half as Huntington never crossed the 50 during the first half. I too am not sure they held them to 10 yards, but it could not have been much more. Minford was in complete control the entire game, except they did come out a little flat after half time. Nice win and everyone is healthy. Time to get ready for Coal Grove.

this game easily could have been 56-0(If Coach Daniels would have done that) if the WR's would have caught the ball! Dropping them all night long when it hit them in the hands! i know it was wet but when you're wide open you're wide open..

We need to Regroup, Refocus, and Prepair for next week. It will be our toughest challenge so far this year !

#20 is Dewalder, he was their fullback last year, and is a hard runner. Him and Trent Renoylds had some good clashes at the LOS last year. Lets enjoy this win and come to work on Monday and have a good week of practices.

Minford needs to start wrapping up. The arm tackling and letting the ball carrier get 5 more yards after initial contact isnt going to work if they are going to contain Delawder and Co. from Coal Grove.
If Minford lays the wood, drives through the ball carriers when they hit them and WRAP THEM UP they will stop a sound Coal Grove running game.
If not, I could be a long night as Coal Grove will run the ball sucessfully and eat up the clock.
I also hate to see Oesch playing corner for Minford, but he is a shut down cornerback. Hopefully someone can step up and give him some relief on D without giving up big plays.
Should be a good game Friday night.
