Got some more info on the parking situation. Here is the update: Hamilton will have VIP parking for $2.00 at the church just west of the new high school on Rathmell Rd. You will enter the stadium on the west side by the baseball diamond. Parking for at least 150 cars.
There will not be a shuttle from the old middle school this year, it was not used very often last season.

Good question. I usually just read the posts, but now I have to write them just to get some replies! I did hear some interesting info from a fellow worker who played against Jacoby a few years. Not only that it's not pronounced Jacob-y, it's a long "o", but some things about how his offense used to be when my friend played.
He said Jacoby used a tripple option offense, with the tailback being a real passing (throwing and catching) threat. He said the only teams who were successful against them were the ones where the safety could read the offense quickly and back up the middle while the outsides were stacked. Strong LB's were a must (according to him anyway).
He also said he didn't have a strong side on his offenses. Jacoby would balance his team according to the other team's weaknesses and either him or the QB would base the direction of the play based on where certain defensive players were located (depending on the location or type of play that defensive player{s} might change).
Interesting. Does anyone know if he uses this at Hamilton?

not sure i heard the scouts couldn't get much from the D he was running. they just packed bodies in the box. the opposing team ran a wing T for the 1st half of the night or til the storm let go over them.
have you been over on jj's site?? i been getting the impression that jacoby should have no problem upsetting us.

I haven't seen Township, but based on what I've heard that's pretty accurate. Triple option out of multiple looks. That's definitely what he did at DeSales.
They have a GREAT athlete at quarterback, but are inexperienced everywhere else. They have a couple other nice athletes on offense.
Hilliard Davidson and Watterson do the same thing with their offense, and I think New Albany does as well. All those coaches have come from the Jacoby tree in some way.

Yes, my friend mentioned one of the Hilliard teams, and one of Dublin Coffman's coaches too. Current or past I don't remember.
My co-worker also told me if we go to that quick out-pass too many times, he'll know how to take it to the house on us unless we change things up on it. It happened to him.

Hey bird, nice to see you again!! Where ya been? I knew this thread was missing something.
Alright guys, I'm back across enemy lines with a parking report. All I can say is get there EARLY. Parking is slim pickins to say the least. There is maybe 150-200 spots in front of the school and 150 spots in the church lot. Other than that you can park in the housing subdivision just to the south of the school. Here are a few notes to keep thing flowing smooth and keep some money in your pocket:
1.) Parking in front of the school. The parking lot is "One Way" and is oriented north to south so the access to the parking lot is from Rathmell Road only.
2.) The church parking is just to the west of the new high school and is pretty easy to get in and out of. $2.00 gets you a spot here.
3.) Parking in the subdivision. This is tricky so pay attention. It looks like there is plenty of street level parking but be careful. On certain streets you can only park on the north side, then it changes to south side parking only and sometimes it's no parking either side. There is no consistency to this and it changes street to street so watch for the signs and you'll avoid a ticket.
Shortly afterwards, I was ran out of town by an angry mob of picth fork and torch weilding Ranger fans. Someone gave them the tip that I was comin and they got me. Just kidding LOL.

Sounds like it is a good thing I'm planning on getting there early!
