wellstonrockets.....Thanks for the kind words on the coverage, but you have the wrong Mr. Boggs. I am his son. Dad and my brother John are on the Wellston radio crew. They are on the way to Waverly as we speak.

In all three of Waverly's games this season they have been a totally different team in the 2nd half - they just have to keep it close in the 1st half.

The first half tonight was as bad as they have played all year and were only down 14-7. These guys do not get tired.

Waverly will continue to get better as the O-line comes along and the defense steps up to stop the run.

I know the motivation was already there.....but I have a difficult time not believing that some extra motivation was had for the words on the previous pages.

Waverly needed this win more than Wellston.....Wellston will win some upcoming games....they are getting there. Good Luck!

These prior pages reminded me a little of the bigdog arguing/debating a few years back on the huddle.

Two key plays in the 3rd quarter killed the Rockets chance at victory. The punt return by Malone , and the bad punt by Wellston that Waverly returned to the Rocket 15 and scored later was too much to overcome.
Keep your heads up Rockets you will get that win soon :!:

Other than the two picks Roback had another nice night. 2 TD's passing and 1 rushing with over 100 yards on the ground. In addition, he was 5-5 on PAT's. He will get better and better.

Waverly will do what the defenses give them. Last night they were able to run the ball with success so they did.

Jesse Pack did a real nice job kicking off for the Tigers as well.

How about the Tiger special teams:
Roback returns in punt for a TD in week one.
Malone returns a kickoff for a TD in week two.
Malone returns a punt for a TD in week three.

"BAD" first half,Wellston should not have been able to run like that.We have got to stop giving up 60 yrd runs."GOOD" second half the defense came together Wellston wasn't able to do alot during the second half. Our running game was much better, the O-line was holding their blocks longer and opening some holes. Roback needs to learn when to throw it away instead of taking a big sack.Yes, I know its only his third game, and I believe he is the best player in the area and is going to be a great QB. His ability to scramble saves the day many times, just has to learn when to do what.Malone and Rowland played great, and HEY EXTRA POINTS!Overall something to build on.Tigers are improving.Keep it going guys!
Go Tigers and GO BUCKS!

Thanx muletown, for the kind words. I think Wellston will get some wins this season ,and next year should be a very good year for the Rockets.Mostly Jrs on this team although they will lose a great back in Lockard next season.I also beleive the Rockets can challenge for a league title this season, but time will tell.
