I think the Burg and Siders are by far the favorites to win the league, as in any year. I do believe Valley will surprise a few folks though. Their off season workout/conditioning program paid off last year, as was evident in how well they played in the second half of very close games. Their underclassmen will need to step up big but there is talent galore in the lower grades. It'll be interesting to see how they come together as a team. I suspect mid pack but wouldn't be surprised if they were in the mix.

Those two huge linemem will bring a new perspective to the table. THe QB from up NORTH is more of a running/passing threat than Yakes, and Yates was the best in the area this past year. Valley won't be in the cellar this year. If 3 defensive linebackers/safeties/ and or corners step up for the lower grades, look out

Are you saying that you guys won't be very good with Valley kids? Need some transfers to be competitive?

No, thats just what you're insinuating to start trouble. Last years kids were all Valley kids..and most will be this upcomimg. We've all said that Valley lost a lot and would be middle of the pack, but if this kid comes in he will fill the void in a crucial spot...it doesnt matter either way, as Valley has a STUD freshman who COULD start as a freshman, but will most likely take over as a Soph...

Without being to intrusive, this kid would have been a junior this season ? Is this correct.......And senior season to come ?

Lets put our feet back on the ground for 2012 football. 2 playoff appearances in 10 yrs and how many socII championships? Valley had an outstanding
football season this year, no doubt about that, but the new swag? I wish them the best but my money will be on Burg or West. Just as it has always been
the last thirty years or so.

In 2012 the "swag" will be the same as it has has been for the majority of the past 60 some years...Orange and Black...whether its West, Burg, or Waverly

I dont know about all the "swag" talk...but the Indians WILL compete on a yearly basis. A lot of good kids in the program...as far as Valley, they havent even been in the SOC 2 for 10 years...2011 season was Valleys 6th year in the conference.
