A lot of people thought the same thing in 2010 when 8-0 Valley had these same 2 home games to finish the season....
They also thought that last year when Valley as 8-0 playing @ Burg and @Minford....

Not the knowledgeable fans....Most of us knew Valley was a year away.

Valley could lose the next two and they would still have far exceeded expectations for this season. The Indians are more than capable of winning the last two. They will have to play great in weeks 9 and 10, but it can be done.

Just think there aren't any really strong teams in southern Ohio this year. Hope I'm proved wrong come playoff time.

Wheelersburg is the only school in the SOC that can really brag about an abundance of playoff success. But, if I am not mistaken, Valley has played in two regional title games (05 and 2011) since the last time the Pirates did (2004).

There is absolutely no denying the Burg's history. They are second to only Ironton in this area. But recently, it is a lot closer than many want to believe.

Anyone that denies Valleys success that last several years is just being foolish. They have really turned their program into a consistent winner and my father and I really enjoyed following their playoff run last year. As long as they aren't playing the Burg I wish them and all other local teams the best of luck in the postseason and regular season.

Everyone take notes. This is a very knowledgable, respectful Burg fan who supports the area as we all should. I also stand behind all local teams as long as Valley is not playing them. If i'm not mistaken, I thought maybe you were sitting behind me last year at the Valley vs Crestview game in Upper Arlington. A Burg fan with his father was sitting in the row behind me last year.
And one more thing. These local teams really appreciate seeing fans and athletes from these local schools at their playoff games no matter where they play. They feed off the support of their community. The support Valley got in the Regional Final last year was amazing. We brought more fans than Wynford did. Our stands were overflowing. I remember seeing fans from every school. It was great.

That probably was my father and I. One of the best high school games I ever saw. We were sitting up close to the press box.

But I like this scenario better:

1.) Burg/Minford/West 4-1
4.) Waverly 2-3
5.) Valley 1-4
6.) NW 0-5

You are kidding me right? There are 15 conference games. Can't have 16 winners and 14 losers.... Mathematically impossible.
Look who your talking to crab its bleeding red just don't pay attention to his ignorance

Looks like this year it will belong to the Indians again barring a meltdown against the Falcons.

Won't be a meltdown IMO, but I see a three way tie this season.

I don't. After seeing both play I think the Valley defense will be to much for the Falcons. Hopefully I'm wrong and it will be a 3 way tie, but I doubt it.
