Heard at the Par Mar that Warren sent their freshmen team to Athens and got beat 36-6 by what appeared to be the JV Team, soph, & juniors. Any truth to this. Don't think that this may be the story. Bigdog, enlighten me.

Athens team was all freshmen. They have great numbers this year. No sophmores or Juniors played for the freshmen team although they look like a jv team.

Thanks I was pretty sure that was the case. So with this group of freshmen the future is looking bright for the BullDogs?
Re: Week 3: Athens (2-0) @ Warren (2-0)
The future is looking bright for the Bulldogs. They have a good youth program and good coaches at the middle school and high school levels without much turnover in the past 5 years. The Freshmen class has the numbers (around 24) and hopefully they will stick with the program in the years to come.

Big game tonight and I will be on the road to Fort Benning, Georgia. WAAAAAAHH! I am taking my laptop with me to periodically check on the score, so I hope somebody keeps this website posted with current events. My Warriors will be tested by an Athens squad that appears to be good. I watched the game last year when it went into overtime, and it was quite an ending for us. I expect another high scoring affair, tonite, but the football gods for Warren will prevail, 42-28. Go Warren!!!!!

I'll be honest, I don't like this matchup for Athens. I'm not saying we can't win, just that I'm not comfortable with the unknown. The good news is that no other team on our schedule will be able to throw the ball the way Warren can if in fact we do struggle.
