I am patiently waiting out hurricane Ike just N of Houston and would like to know how those Vikes are doing. Expecting 100+ winds in a few hours and will probable lose contact because the electric will be gone long before then. Which reminds me that Buck Spires, former Viking RB in the 90's had some recent misfortune and could use all the prayers he could get. I would appreciate anything anyone could say on Bucky's behalf. He is a great young man with a really nice little family there in McArthur. Thanks in advance.

I thought Waverly did an excellent job coming out strong and setting the pace. They put this game away early with big plays and a stout defense. It's hard for a run oriented team to come back when they get behind by 2-3 TDs. Good job Waverly!
