Re: South Point vs Point Pleasant
When you give up near 500 yards in offense and still have a chance to win - we were very lucky....
Three times inside the twenty and we scored just 6 points (2 FG, 1 turnover at the goal line)
Eh, oh well, congrats to South Point and hope you win the rest of them.

The same can be said for the Pointers I bet that Wasauga boy had about 400 total yards tonight. SP should have had two other scores with a fumble on the 7 yard line and another fumble on a key drive. Anyway great game to watch and the announcer from Pleasant was the nicest I have ever heard. He was congratulating both teams and naming the kids by names and saying :"great catch and nice tackle" all night long when they had good plays either on defense or offense. He was a class act!

Re: South Point 36 vs Point Pleasant 24 Final
Our announcer's name is Randy Searls - he does a great job for us.
Hope everyone enjoyed the trip and enjoyed our Hall of Fame festivities. I'm starting to think we need to stop having this Hall of Fame game - we're 0-2!
Good football game though (from a non coaches standpoint of course!) and look forward to heading to South Point next season.

South Points 3 running backs all went for over 100 yards rushing in this game.

Didn't Gallia Academy play Point Pleasant as well? If so, who won that matchup?
