The Athens varsity Volleyball team beat Belpre 25-16, 25-11, & 25-11. The Junior Varsity also won 25-19, 25-11

One really BIG advantage of joining the TVC.....and with a different starting 6, I believe they could beat Alexander or certainly give them a big headache. Division III schools are just too small to field strong teams and few have the middle school program Athens has had for years. If taken seriously, Athens could easily send teams to the final 8 every year for the next four years.

That would be great!!! do you realize how hard it is to make it to the elite 8 one time ? Good to set high goals though!!! would be great to see another team at that level !! Can anyone remember the last time a team from Athens made elite 8 ..... soccer possibly, or baseball ? they hav had some nice soccer teams !! I think volleyball made sweet 16 or top 32 liz howerths senior year.
