Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
I saw on Joe Eitel that they are a D2 school. They lost to Bishop Ready(2-1) 47-0 and to Delaware Hayes(2-2) 37-6. They beat Columbus West(1-3) 33-13 and Columbus Briggs(0-4) 27-6.
Being a big school I'm sure they will have a large team, but if Waverly plays up to their potential I think the Tigers can prevail.
Here's a link to their school web page, but I couldn't get their athletics link to load for me.

Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
From what I gather they are deep s-thing like Pick North was last season. They are 2-2 I know the Tigers could definatley use some of their Level 2 points, especially with Wellston and Piketon suffering close losses Friday night.
I think, playing at home the Tigers need to do what they did against Vinton Co. come out and put a big number on the board and then play hard-nosed defense. Can't wait for SOC II conference play with West 4-0, Minford 4-0, Burg 4-0, Valley 3-1 and Waverly 3-1 this could be fun.
But I think Franklin Heights will have a numbe of athletes that we will have to deal, but you can teach heart or athleticism. It;s the same in Columbus as it is in Pike County should be a great football game.

Is Kretzer back? Some may not know he didn't play against Vinton Co.
Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
Jackson played Franklin Heights in a home and home series in 2004 and 2005. The Ironmen won the 2004 game 61-33, with Franklin Heights scoring two or three times late in the game, and Jackson also won the 2005 game 42-14. I can't say how good this year's FH team is, but judging by their games so far, they seem to be similar to the teams that Jackson faced. FH will have some talent, but I don't really expect them to challenge Waverly. I see the Tigers getting the win as long as they don't have an off night and turn the ball over.
Good luck to Waverly.
Good luck to Waverly.

No way Waverly wins- F/H has to many athletes! Line has to play thier best game for the Tigers to win. Tigers lose 34-21
Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
Chillicothe used to play against Franklin Heights and Delaware Hayes from the OCC. They were usually always one of the victories Chillicothe garnished in OCC play.
Chillicothe is 9-0 verses Delaware Hayes.
Chillicothe is 10-7 verses Franklin Heights in its history.
I think the Waverly Tigers will win the game. Is the game at Waverly or in Columbus?
Good Luck Tigers

Derek Roback has been offered a full ride to Ohio U as of last Saturday. I am sure it is not the last offer and probably not the biggest he will receive.

Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
Derek has 49 carries is that counting sacks as carries if it's not why does he have more than malone. I think he has around 35. If waverly couldnt run the ball how come roback has more carries. Thats why they call malone a running back. Dont get me wrong roback is a great athlete who should get 10 carries a game with thirty pass attemps I'm just wondering why he has more carries than malone who is the the running back

Re: Week 5: Franklin Heights @ Waverly
Malone has only three offensive tds wow he has two special teams tds. Looks like malone does work on offense and gets paid on special teams. Only three offensive touchdowns waste of talent
