If you ever saw Waverly play you would understand Roback's rushes. In the shotgun Roback rolls out and runs for hls life. The offensive line is maturing and against VC he actually looked like a drop back passer. Malone was not productive against Piketon or Jackson. Give the line time and Malone's yards and carries will come. Sounds like you might have a little jealous bone in your body.

Waverly should be alright in this game. Franklin Heights is in the Grove City area, so they have lost alot of kids over the years to the newier Central Crossing School. Plus you have Bishop Ready, Westland, Grove City near by. They tend to be the weakest of these schools.

SHould be similar in Pick Central from last year numbers wise. They will have a few stars normally, but overall team is usually average.

After that post, does Waverly win? Can they compete. I love that they challenged another Col. school. Good luck to Waverly!! GO SOC2!

Waverly has scored roughly 21 touchdowns thru 4 games. Malone gets roughly 15 touches a game (595 yards this season...149 yards per game...not including special teams) in helping the tigers achieve this. How could you possibly say that they are wasting his talent?

When you have to build a team that has to play 14 kids on both sides of the ball (Malone included), you have to take into consideration how much you utilize a player in order to not completely exhaust him. Malone does more than his share of the work for the Tigers.

Yes...Malone is one of the best running backs in southern Ohio (if not the best). He is also one of Waverly's top receivers. He leads the team in kick returns and if I am not mistaken, he also leads the team in interceptions.

Definitely not being wasted.

If waverly couldnt run the ball how come roback has more carries. Thats why they call malone a running back. Dont get me wrong roback is a great athlete who should get 10 carries a game with thirty pass attemps I'm just wondering why he has more carries than malone who is the the running back

seops123 has no clue. Malone plays about every down offense/defense/special teams, so to say he's not be used properly or is talent wasting away is rediculous. Waverly does not have the depth they had with 21 seniors last year.

That is how the Spread Option offense is run, 123. Ever watch WVU or Florida?

The term dual threat QB means Run/Pass threat.

he other extreme version is the Spread Option, used in 2007 by Rich Rodriguez at West Virginia and now Michigan, Chip Kelly at Oregon and Jerry Moore at Appalachian State. Despite the multi-receiver sets, the spread option is a run-first scheme which requires a quarterback that is comfortable carrying the ball, a mobile offensive line that can pull and trap effectively, and receivers that can hold their blocks. The essence of the spread option is misdirection. Effectively, this is the old triple option except that it utilizes spread sets. In particular, the quarterback must be able to read the defensive end and determine whether he is collapsing down the line or playing upfield contain.

Coach Knight why dont you and the other coaches leave malone with roback in shotgun and run speed option and on pass plays have him block he could not do any worse than the other guys you have and if nobody comes have him run a swing and get him into open field. Why do you guys split him out as a WR if he is a RB

Why don't you let us coach, we have been at it a long time and we know what we are doing!

It would probably be better if you left your opinions unsaid! It is quite obvious that you know VERY LITTLE about the game of football.

You guys do a great job of coaching i was just wondering why you split him out. I would love to see malone and roback run speed option. They both run (my guess) 4.5's and i dont think anybody could stop it and with robacks arm with price and robertson catching the ball they would be very good. Thats all i'm saying. One more thing good luck to waverly and hope you guys win. My opinions can be said whenever i want them to and I never said anything bad about anybody

So for him to run the ball you have to go to the I formation and then he gets 90 percent of the time other teams will pick that up

Maybe SEOPS is too "close" to the situation to be objective?

I feel that posting this kind of stuff is counterproductive to team spirit and unity. I am going to ask you to stop 123. Thank you .
