Sharp wasn't producing much for them either.

It's unfortunate that Sharp isn't there, you can see that Ahtens has trouble breaking the press and no true ball handler. So Athens78 he was producing, I do believe 11 pts and about 5 assist a game and a true point guard that can break any press isn't producing. Let's get it straight facts are facts use them wisely before you put things on here.

Aaron Craft doesn't blow up the box score for Ohio State either - but the Buckeyes would for sure miss him if he wasn't their. Logan pressed from the beginning till the end last night - not sure they could have done that had Sharp been on the floor ... The ability to break the press, and then score in transition was a big facet to the Bulldogs offense - they're obviously struggling a little bit now trying to adjust not having that part of their game.

Way to go Logan. 2-0 in the TVC. My prediction on 500 could be wrong. Great win played their best overall game of the year. Coach Koons has them playing some great def. Lets see if they can keep it going against Ports. Put that press on Koons. You know how to get a program back up and running and we seen it tonight if Coach Helber would listen to you more and let you make more decisions this season can be salvaged. GREAT JOB

Pol Pot,
I pretty sure that bbguru is using a little thing call sarcasim!! Everyone knows that Logan has no chance to press Portsmouth! Did you really read what he said? He said, "Koons had them playing some great defense." If you have watched any of Logans games you would get the humor in his words because Logan can't guard an empty chair. The comment about John listening to Koons is sarcasim too, becasue all John does it turn around look at Koons and then turns back around and repeats what Koons told him too. Koons is just waiting until he get his chance to take over after John is gone.
I am glad Logan won. They say winning heals a lot of ills, and I an sure the kids and staff are feeling pretty good this week, but there is still a lot of ball to be played and Koons is still on the bench and this win is like putting a silk purse on a pig when its all said and done its still just a pig.

As a Trojan fan, I would love to see Logan press Portsmouth....I know nothing of this Koons person or of the Logan team this year as I have not seen them. So I didn't take or need anything sarcastic.

Thought I read on some Trimble threads that Koons is helping at Trimble now. Is he coaching both places, or is it a different Koons? With Athens losing games this badly I can see why they continue to dodge Hannan.

Eaglesrock cant believe someone from Eastern has any concern about Logan bball but you must. And yes Koons has them playing pretty well on D he has told everyone that is his job at Logan and you can see by the way they play D that it is his job. By the way White Falcon Koons has been helping at Trimble he has that job in the bag next season so he has told. But wait a minute from what he has said it will come down to 2 choices Logan or Trimble. So let the bidding begin.
