02,

Process of elimination in a 5 team league. That is what makes me so great. Willing to have a good laugh on myself. Too bad other people just don't get it.

They are so full of Chieftain Envy, they miss alot. i say enjoy the ride.

Check me out. i am rarely wrong. Jackson has too much for Gallia this year. Oh and just a side note. FRom your post it does not appear you have forgot more football than i know. Make an interesting post sometime. It will be fun for you. I bash programs not kids. Not only do you lack knowledge maybe you need someone to read the posts to you.

take the kids out of the programs and there is none , so if you bash a program-you bash the kids who are in it... enough wasting time with you---

you are like the man who said he 'd "only been wrong once- he thought he was wrong about something but wasn't !!-" HA!!

Jackson has played nobody who is any good.

they don't have the speed to matchup with the blue devils

24-12 gallipolis

What does Jackson and Gallia Academy run as their base offense and defense?

Jackson runs a lot of power-I with some midline option mixed in and will go with an unblanced line at times.

Gallipolis runs a multi-look offense with I-formation and spread looks, in the shot gun a lot, lots of motion.

THE BLUE WILL DEFINITELY HAVE TO STOP THE RUN TO HAVE A CHANCE TO GAIN CONTROL IN THIS GAME. FUNDAMENTAL TACKLING WILL NEED TO IMPROOVE AND OFFENSE HAS TO MOVE THE BALL TO TAKE TIME OFF THE CLOCK. SHOULD BE A GOOD GAME TO WATCH.... WEATHER LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE NICE.
GO BLUE!

Loco's you are a wealth of knowledge! Hope to have you on the show again before season ends. Maybe the week before your Chieftains come to Alumni Stadium. Time permitting

Would be glad to do it. It looks like that came could be a really big one in the SEOAL and in terms of computer points for both teams.

Saw the Ironmen against Wellston in the first week. The line moves well and does their job, especially Hughes and Huff is a heck of a back with a big motor.

I still think they could use their other weapons (Meredith, Landrum, etc.) more, but it's hard to not give the ball to a back like Huff.

To top it off, Brandon Trace is a big body that moves well at tight end who can keep teams honest in the secondary.

If the Ironmen could stop turning the ball over at inopportune times, they will be very tough for ANYONE to beat.

Also, sophmore fullback Clay Arthur is really coming into his own right now. He loves contact and would rather run over you than around you. He compliments Huff very well. Plus, kicker Ryan Mullins is a real weapon. Senior leadership is a real plus on this team!

Definitely.

Gallipolis has some weapons as well, it's too bad they've had so many injuries lately. Nate Allison and Tyler Grimm are a nice 1-2 punch out of the backfield.

The Blue Devils tackled pretty well in space against us as well. They put a couple of good licks on guys, especially the Penthel kid who I don't know had seen a lot of time till the Logan game. He did a nice job for the Blue Devils.

Apple Festival is going on right now. I have had two large bucket of fries, two steak sandwiches with onions, peppers, and cheese. Tonite I am getting mushrooms and deep fried oreos. On Thursday I am getting an extra large cinamonn roll before work. I don't know if I will make it Friday. I will probably be drinking pepto bismol all evening. I hope the players aren;t eating like me, or we will be in trouble. :122246 Somewhere in there I will get an apple dumpling with ice cream. Go Ironmen!

JJ-
I think what makes Jackson fun to watch is not only Huff, but like you stated Arthur is becoming a real nice fullback, Trace at tight end can break a big play at anytime, the two recievers have made nice plays, and there is Landrum and Meredith who can sneak up and make a huge play on offense. Plus our line has been real nice so far. Just has been a fun team to watch. Plus our kicker is great, and man has his punting improved. Hopefully, we will not need that on Friday.

I really miss having our game with jackson during the apple festival...when I was a kid...we always went to the apple festival before and after the game...it was a blast...I hope I get a chance to go this year...but doubt it...unless we go on our way up to Logan...and I don't think we are going to go the 93 way...that is aweful...Whatever happened to Ironton playing Jackson during the apple festival...I know it stopped sometime after Ironton got out of the Seoal
