sounds like sour grapes to me. alot of people in Lawrence County have a beef with coach and they hoped he would fail at West. Well he hasn't and we are very happy to have him. He puts in the work and is building the program. This season's success isn't only because of talent, but the grape shape that he has these kids in. And by the way, if you think West will fall off the map after these seniors forget it. The West classes are full of talent through the Middle School and beyond. I would expect several more losses to Coach before he hangs it up. Maybe you should seek some help.

It's not the people of Lawrence County that had a problem with him it was some of the people in Ironton. IT was just the wrong some people that were able to get rid of him. Heh he is so better off where he is wanted . Don't drag all the people of Lawrence County into this mess.

Technically Coach Triplett had a two year contract at Ironton. No one got rid of him, he chose to leave and go to West, and since Bob wanted to come back it worked out. Plenty of people in Ironton wanted him to stay and voiced that. Oh, and West 89, your posts are bizarre! :) :)

West_Sider....do u realize that this comment makes WEST not look real good???

burggrad,

I don't believe my comment states anything that can be conceived as West as good or bad. Only that they've not been tested yet. I'm a realist, without "Sider Goggles", "Burg Goggles" or any other fans that placate for their team. No team in the SOC really knows just what they have as of yet. My concern is not that West make the playoffs, but can make noise in the playoffs.

At west, coach T and the team are as good as the individuals. There is no team. He cant, my bad, he is going to try and get the parents to stay out of it but he probably wont succeed. This team is top heavy and doing a good job. But next year, or this year if the team is really excelling in week 10, he will have problems. Just the nature of the beast at west. The parents cannot sit on their hands and let the kids play. Too headstong, too individual (which i like in parents but not in football) and the team will suffer. West rolls over Peake like a sledge hammer friday. Cant stop that. Too much for the panthers and to the West faithful, get behind your team, not in front of it! As for Burg, same thing!!
