Raiders win 27-7!

Great game by the Raiders! Should have been a second straight shutout, but 2 wins in a row for RV!

It will be very interesting to see how RV does in conference play this year. Hopefully the OVC race will be a dandy!

Waterford is much better than Eastern & they win this game somewhere around 34-7.

Well, grizzlyman.....you were close (34-7 compared to actual 27-7).....just WRONG team!  Sorry, just had too!

GO RAIDERS!!

Is River Valley running the spread this year?
How's their running game and do you have any rushing stats? I'd appreciate any help you could offer.

I have been out of town for a few days and would like to congratulate the Raiders on a decisive win Friday night. Everything looked great. Some one asked me last night if it was a one-man effort and I can truly say that although there were many great individual performances, it was truly a team effort. I think that there will be more wins coming and if you think about it, the team has already improved 100%. A large part of winning is knowing how it feels and now they know.

I look for a tough game against SP. They were one of the teams that beat RV soundly last year (rather than RV beating themselves). The coaches will build on that momentum and this week's game should be a barn burner. I can't wait.

Great job to the players and coaches. If you saw the size of the crowd Friday, you can see the results of winning in the previous week. RV wants a successful program and this group may just give it to them.
