How did the scrimmage go?Do you think that the tsyfl can be a good team in the River CITY Bowl?Hard for me to fathom that C_G would play someone the week of the Rock Hill game.Just curious of the final score???

They didnt. Coach Murphy wouldnt risk injury before a game like that. We are going next week the 23. It was my mix up. Looking forward to going down there and seeing how a TSYFL team will stack up in case River Bowl becomes a reality. Hope we can compete.

It sounds like that will be a good game for me to go to. I'd like to see CG scrimmage Fairland at the C, B, and A levels. Are you guys playing all three? If so, CG... watch out for Fairland's B team... Having said that, I haven't seen CG's ANY team play yet so I could be way off... I just know how easy the FYFL B's seem to score.

Looking forward to going down tomorrow. The boys are excited. First time ever out of TSYFL for them. Only the second time for me. Played Symmes Valley on a Thur night about 20 years ago but havent played one since. Hope its an injury free practice tomorrow and who knows,maybe a night game could be in the works somewhere down the line. And thanks for the kind words Howie.

So did I hear right that they'll be scrimmaging at Fairland next week? I thought it was fun to watch these two teams play each other. There was some good hitting going on by both sides. Don't see that many hits in a junior high game usually.

Thank you to Coach Murphy for having us. I thought we did well but towards the end CG big strong athletes wore us down. I think that a TSYFL team can definately compete in the river bowl but I will tell you the size difference will be a factor. We had a good time and hope to do this again if not next week,in a couple of weeks. At any rate thanks again Coach Murphy and good luck to CG Saturday.
