Franklin Heights 49
Waverly 27
Was allot closer ball game at 35-27 in 4th.

Kevin Malone went down with under 2:00 to play on a kickoff return. He was immobilized and taken off the field in an ambulance. He was alert, talking and able to move. Pray it is not serious.

It's a good sign if he was moving and talking.Still could have a serious head or neck injury though....Got to give Waverly props for playing a Columbus school though....

They may not be a great D2 school, but are D2 none the less. They have more speed and size than any team Waverly will face this year.

their 2 wins came against 2 of the worst teams in the columbus area and they lost 47-0 to a div5 B-ready team.

I don't think he needed to be at the game

What I mean to say is, there are allot of teams in Columbus and he knows enough about football to pinpoint the two worst.... hard to argue with his logic.

I said 2 of the worst not the 2 worst, big difference. How is my statement really any different than you saying that waverly will not face a bigger or faster team the rest of the yr. I could see how you could argue the size statement by just looking at a roster but very hard to make the speed point until you see waverly on the feild against the remaining teams on the schedule, especially if you haven't seen waverly's 5 remaining opponents live.

fbnut,
Your comments lead folks to believe Franklin Heights is not any good. I know who they have beaten and who they lost to. Can we help who they have played? They beat the teams they should have and they got beat by better teams then them. Just because the two teams they beat weren't any good doesn't mean they aren't.

Thats what people should have been lead to believe by my comments. They do not have a very good football program regardless what size school they are. Talk to people around central ohio and they will tell you that they are not a very good football team.

IMO Franklin Heights is much better than I ever expected. I feel that if they were coached a little better and more disciplined they would win more football games in the OCC. Hats off to my TIGERS for giving the bigger schools a shot.

So I need to see Waverly on the field with a team in order to know if they are fast? I have been around football all my life, I have played 13 years and I have seen allot of football. I have seen live or on film all of Waverly's opponents excluding Valley and Northwest and I am very confident in my statement that Franklin Heights has more size and speed than any team Waverly will face this year.
