WK 6 South Point @ River Valley

OVC games are finally here. Thoughts?

I'm interested in this game for some reason. River Valley seems to be better than last year and they play a different style of offense than most OVC teams - I know they gave CG fits last year and I believe they gave Rock Hill a pretty good game, too. Plus, South Point must make the long trip up to AEP Country.
All of that considered, I still like South Point in this one.... but not by as much as most might think

First game of the OVC is finally here. SP will be making the trip to River Valley. After watching SP friday night against Valley I say SP will win this one big by 3 or more TD's.

South Point is a fine team....They really suprised me when they played Point Pleasant....They are a tough Football team and RV has a lil Mo on there side.....I have to stay with my Gallia County roots and Take RV in this one...Good Luck to both teams.

I look for this game to be a little bit closer than most people think. I don't think RV will be able to stop South Point's run game, but on the other hand I really think that South Point will have trouble with River Valley's passing game. In the end, South Point takes this one 28-14.

not heard much about river valley but from reading everyones posts sounds like they are better than the past years ... SP has played good ball these past two weeks so I like my pointers in this one but i agree wont be a blowout .... SP 34 RV 22

UPSET SPECIAL

River Valley over South Point (although it's hard to say it's an upset when the Raiders have won two in a row.)

I have been on River Valley's side a lot and this just may be the year for them, I thought they looked really good in the previews they just had one mistake to many, if the keep the mistakes down then week nine could be the Grove and Valley for the OVC, I said it here first folks, wait and see.

I agree 100% 2Trap! That offense they run gives teams down this way fits if you can't pressure the QB. We all saw what it did to CG last year - the Grove gets the deer-in-the-headlights look when an offense lines up against them with three or more out wide. And as long as they refuse to adjust to it, it'll keep eating them alive just like Fairland's offense has....

I won't go as far as to call the upset, but I wouldn't dare to criticize anyone who does.
